Red Sangria

Sangria is a wine punch that can be dated back to Spain, 200BC. It gained popularity throughout Europe and the Americas in the 18th and 19th century, often mixed with “claret” or French Bordeaux. In 1964, Sangria made a huge impression on America at the World’s Fair and it is now generally associated with Spain and is popularly made with Rioja and other Spanish reds.
